In the centenary year of Maryon Wilson Park and 25th Anniversary of the Friends, I would like to warmly welcome you to the Friends of Maryon and Maryon Wilson Parks AGM, on behalf of the Committee.

It has been a busy and productive year, with, (amongst other things) the Friend’s membership base growing in size and some successful grant applications, which we will share with you at the AGM, plus other updates! The future of Maryon Wilson Animal Park has never been far from being a topic of conversation, in the past year. However, we will discuss with you, the outcome of regular meetings, held, with the Council and other stakeholders, and also, potential solutions, to some of the issues raised. Please also find attached copies of the Friend’s revised Constitution and Complaints policies, for ratification at the AGM.
We are putting together a timetable of events over the next 9 months or so, to celebrate the centenary of Maryon Wilson Park, and the 25th Anniversary of the Friends.
